“In the tradition of The Karate Kid and Tron”, Turbo is the story of a teenager competiting in a fighting game tournament in 2051. The game uses the players motions, voice, and all the jazz to make a pseudo-real gaming experience. Definately an interesting premise and put together very nicely. Sure, the story is a cliche but overall it’s a very piece of work. Mad props to Jarrett Lee Conaway for his very slick short film (it does top out at 23 minutes and roughly 39 seconds after all).
Oh, and it’s a bajillion times better than any Street Fighter movie. >.>
